Hello and welcome to the official web page for Permanence. We are excited to have you here. This will be home for all sorts of updates and information concerning the film. For those who are not familiar with the project, below is a synopsis of the film.
Permanence:
In a dystopian world where society has outlawed art, sex, and individuality; Stanley and Rebecca fall in love. When the government finds out their secret, both are subjected to a “reset” - they have their memories of each other wiped clean through a process that is both physically and emotionally painful.
Permanence is a film project by students at the Savannah College of Art & Design. The film is being produced by Megan Melrose and is the thesis project for Anna R. Swenson (Editor) and Calvin Johnson (Director). The film is also one of Eduardo Capriles’ (Director of Photography) senior projects.
Permanence has completed principal photography and is currently in postproduction.
